OperaDelaware holds its intimate, cabaret-style Studio Series performances in its rehearsal hall on the Christina River at the Wilmington Riverfront. OD’s Youth Opera Project rehearses and performs in this building.
Also housed in this building is the Black Box Theater which is home to City Theater Company, Wilmington’s Off-Broadway experience and other independent performing arts groups in Wilmington.
Opera Delaware presents fully-staged operas with orchestra at the Grand Opera House--including world premieres and family opera--and is committed to offering a wide range of educational and culturally diverse activities to the Delaware region for the enjoyment and education of audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
