Cleaning Division Ambassadors
Downtown's Cleaning Ambassadors continue to improve the way downtown Wilmington looks - one piece of litter at a time! Downtown Visions deploys 12 uniformed workers plus mechanical equipment, seven days a week, providing up to 10 hours of service a day. Our Cleaning Ambassadors are on the streets seven days a week picking up trash, emptying receptacles, removing graffiti and illegal posters. Seasonally we remove weeds and leaves from sidewalks and tree beds. During the warmer months, we pressure wash, steam and scrub the sidewalks five nights a week.

Last year, our Ambassadors swept up over 137 tons of litter (that's 274,000 pounds!) and removed graffiti from over 300 locations.
